i need to take the car to the garage to get the cat put back on ready for an MOT but i dont wantto take it if i aint covered so i thoguht id ask your guys for advice the only thing i have is insurance

is it the same garage as who's doing the MoT? think the rules are can drive without MoT and Tax to a pre booked MoT only if they are fitting the cat and then MoTing it should be ok but previous discussion on link below

why not fit the cat yourself and then just drive the car to the pre-arranged mot instead of faffing around?.
