Random topic i know but i was looking through my files yesterday and i found my old fiesta si file in it was the original sales brochure from ford for the fiesta si, its in pristine condition so i thought id keep it as might be worth something in the future and its an interesting read.lol

But i was reading the colour schemes available for the fiesta si and Dark aubergine wasn't an option to have on the fiesta si which confused me as there are a few about however you can get moondust silver Si's which i have never seen so im guessing these are rare.

anyone got any input on this topic

I agree 100% on that one...si bumpers don't look right white...but get me a white rs on black rims just the muts nuts

what year is the brosure from? maybe they changed it in 95/96 so maybe before or after the brosure it was available... ford change their mind alot... ive seen a brosure for an escort that didnt have some of the colours that they were made in on.

Dark Aubergine Si below in my sig....

Although my DVLA registration document classes it as red

I think I've got a Fiesta original manufacturers brochure somewhere as well and it lists Aubergine as an option, my Si was a Ford demonstrator when new and I'm only the 2nd owner so pretty sure the colour is genuine.

Will have a look for the brochure later and confirm.
