why do people always ask me 'have you had it resprayed?'

if you look after yer paintwork its gona look as good as it can

the only panels that have seen the spray gun is the bonnet which was done due to someone putting a nice scratch on it and some nasty water ectching and a small amount on the rear arch, thats it

other than that it is how it was when it was built

You rarely see clean older cars.

Only modded ones, and modded ones have more chance of being reprayed

So the instant question is, has it been resprayed?

Thats my theory.

But mine has been sprayed

To be honest, I can think of worse questions...

20 times I got asked at FF if I made the pickup out of fiberglass?!?!!!

then the everyday comments of, what is it, how why when what, what engine, your bonnets open?

Yeah i get this to, as my ford is nearly 22 years old people think all the panels have been replaced and its been welded up underneath

on a serious note,i just think people are genuinely shocked when they find out its the same paint as when it left the factory, show's your doing a damn good job looking after it

Terry always used to get people shouting out their windows at him at traffic lights that his bonnet was open! Its just easier to say 'oh thanks' than explain it! sooo funny how much trouble some people go to so they can tell you your bonnets open!
