just had si serviced. need to spend about £250 on it. turns out 3 of the shocks are nakerd, needs new engine mount and and sumthing about the exhaust isnt feeding properly threw the manifold needs re routing or sumthing :doh: . luckly my mate has a freind at a fiesta breakers so hopfully parts will be cheap enough.

not sure what to do about susspension, probs just worth getting new, but dont wana spend to much. -30mm i think should do it if i have to by new. any recomendations?

on the plus side though, hes surprised how good the body works in so not all bad news. :|

how and why does the manifold need re-routing :? where its situated is perfectly fine

i only spoke to the chap working on it briefley, i may have it wrong but he rekons the chap who had it b4 had done a bodge job on a few bits, still, all will b fixed b4 meet and hopfully it will b sat 30mm lower to the ground on a set of 15s and running hapily. ( touch wood ). will report tomoz on exact problem.

its one thing after the other. but at least the bodys in good nick, all my other fords have had rust and rot. i love my si though so i wont give up on her.lol.

you says the shocks are knackered but then you mention lowering springs? or did you mean a 30mm kit of shocks and springs? :?

bilstein shocks, eibach springs.
