Does anybody know a good place to get one from? and how much a half decent one costs?

I want one for my track days, as I hate hiring the circuit ones.

i went to my local motor bike shop to get one, it was for my mini moto that i never actually got to use on a track :cry:

but i dont see why i cant use mine on a track for a car

i think i paid £100-£120 ish maybe more for mine, i cant really remember the exact amount, might be more :o :lol:

No idea, the ones I've been using at the circuit are a medium if thats any good.

I had a quick look on ebay to get an idea and they have a size, ie 59-60, which part of the head is being measured??

in crash gear, you get what you paid for. i would recomend arai, but are quite pricey, but depending ont he level of use, will be worth it. just make sure you buy from a reputable shop... you cant put a price on your health.

try Hein Gericke at top of Bur street in Norwich for a good selection, you can just try them on and if need get the size and the look elsewhere, but better to try before buy as different makes the same size feel different. ive been happy with a full face crash helmet used for both car and bike track days. If not to worried about the latest style look for end of line sales or visit a motorbike show as another option.
