I think we came to the conclusion on FT that it was a very rare optional extra. Have a look at your brake reservoir too, there should be more pipes than usual I believe :)

i cant seem to see any wiring so maybe theres somethin up with my brakes if i cant lock them up! :S

When you did this, did the brake pedal judder like it was having a fit? Because that's what abs feels like.

(old abs feels like that ye) .. not really, to an extent it was juddering..

hmm me wonders if i should get it on the brake rollers at work..

Dont have any pics, but look at the drive shaft under the car, just before the shaft goes into the gearbox. If it has ABS then they'll be a housing the shaft goes through and they'll be a belt behind it. They'll be one on each shaft.

Think the master cylinder has 4 pipes on it, but not sure about that. :)
