It seems after fitting a set of front koni's that there was a problem with alinement of the drivers side damper. Under closer inspection ive discovered the last owner hadnt been completely honest with me  Its recently had atleast a new slam panal,new wing and another bonnet  Theres cracks all over the chassis leg and ripples all up the inner wing. Doesnt anyone know of any decent mk3.5 shells around? Im not one to easily give up! |

How crap! I'd hate to have a car which later I found out was in a serious accident! My brother's old VTR had been rolled onto it's roof and repaired... the reason he sold it 2 days later after finding out about it infact! I could of broke the existing pillars with my fist and I'm hardly the Hulk

Just Bought A Fiesta With A Blown Engine on ebay so lets hope it turns out to be as good as the seller made it out to be. |

good news mate  Should the parts become available im after your passenger door, bonnet, loom (inc leccy windows) and all the locks  Make sure you put a thread up when you reshell

Only problem is i'll loose having 1.6 Si on the log book as it will just be a Fiesta Quartz with 1.6 engine |

Doesnt it depend on how much you transfer from the donor car? if you move enough stuff across can you not choose which identity it has?

I think if you cut the VIN numbers out of the Si and put them on the donor car, and get the reg transfered over etc, it does become an official si. |

Erm no, you can't change the identy of a shell, that would be plate rigging, highly illegal! The shell will always have the same ID no matter what!
