Right I don't know if this would ever take off, but since the new year I've been very anal, and decided to write down the details of everytime i go to a petrol station this month, to see my average MPG over a month, the cost and how many miles i've travelled.

6th january. £15. 95 @ 14.72. 110.
10th january. £40. 95 @ 35.80. 250.
19th january. £20. vpower @ 18. 150.
23rd January. £15. 95 @14.30. 90.
26th January. £32. vpower @ 28.60. in progress.
Pretty much in January I'll have done 1000 miles on this tank, spent £152 on fuel, and average the MPG of 32.1 which costs 15.4 pence a mile!

Maybe I'm being sad, but shall we start making a collection on here of everytime we fill up, how many miles we get and how much we pay? Then we can post, and just edit our posts everytime.
