Do we really need to fit that thing? Its not going to make a difference having it on or off surely?

Spent 3hrs on the car tonight after work,Managed to fit rear braided hoses,radiator,radiator hoses,radiator fan,engine bay loom,new starter motor power cables and earth cables. Plugged in all the plugs and sensors including the fuel pump plug and refitted the fuel tank.Fitted a battery but it was dead.

The good news which really made me smile is the battery had enough juide to allow the starter to click so least I know the loom is all plugged in right

Erm, we once unplugged one on a 1.6 zetec a few years ago and it ran like a sack, so I dunno.

I havent got a clue where it is piped to, to be honest!


on topic:

I have polished the pickup, drove to town, realised that since mark welded the exhaust up on sunday that it bangs and pops like fook on overrun now... which it didnt used to do, even with just the backbox, so I'm happy although its probably another hole in the exhaust knowing my luck, ah well

Today I will be removing the Ashley Manifold, modified stainless cat back and replacing with standard manifold, cat, magnex cat back with 3" tip.

Due to my exhaust being an arse.

3" tip is also gay but dont think my 4" will mate up to the system as its a shorter box and was for a different magnex system, ah well.

opened the garage and made sure it was still there, shut the garage and went to wales for the day in the Micra

Sorted out the position of the standard downpipe / cat with magnex catback exhaust and welded another hanger on the backbox as it snapped off.

3" backbox FTL although doesnt sounds too chavvy and good for a daily for now.

Also fitted tinted windows to the front doors

Sorted number plate light then fitted a new boot strut after the lass complained the boot hit her on the head lol then took it for its m.o.t expecting it to fail but passed 1st time.

Now im going to work on the 2.0 and pray that passes 1st time.

ST170 with High Compression Pistons, steel rods, Stage 3 head,Newman PH4 cams ,Twin 45 Delortos, Weber Alpha Management, Quaiffe IB5 gearbox,LEDA Coilovers etc .........

Washed it, polished it, hoovered inside, polished interior, bit of tyre foam, took out the fog
Light and covered the hole with mesh. Wooo exciting
