T1Rs are good in the wet in my experience and not that far off paradas for dry grip too, I don't think paradas are that good in the wet although not as bad as most make out, if I were you I would go to 195 50 15 if you can as you have a better choice of tyres for cheaper. I would recommend the Bridgestone Potenza RE720 if you can afford them, they are the best road tyres I have ever used, dry grip is much better than yoko paradas and wet grip is similar to the T1R

Im no good with tyre names but the best tyres i had where some pirrelli ones, they gripped epicly in dry, wet and where decent in snow also. Even when they worn right down they where still better than the tyres on the si atm which have shit loads of tread.

thanks chaps... yeah im not looking on spending a fortune will, but ill check em out. kind of want to keep the profile at 45's tbh.

think t1r's will be the final decision. car isnt getting used loads, so the softness shouldnt affect me
