Theyll still do cd players aslong as their is demand for it, I can see where there coming from though.
Older people are getting with technology nowadays, I like having cds however they tend to get ripped on to memory pen for my car, I listen to cds in my van but thats it.

Believe it or not, I still have the original radio from my old Fiesta, what's a CD player? All I want to do is make a sturdier stand for my iPhone as I'm using the current standard 3G dock and it doesn't support it well enough and music doesn't play properly due to 'disconnection'. Then once I've done that, wire the audio cable into the tape deck directly and have a dummy tape to activate it, though I do have a tape converter for this purpose at the moment.

Although I may be screwed when radio goes digital
