yeah when a car drives past i tend to look so do my mates aswell but i live on an estate and i know what each car sounds like well the one with exhausts i seem to know witch mate has turned up at my house with the exhaust noise aswell

when my mate has his yaris on the road i can hear him come from about a mile away in traffic so i can get ready lol but at night time from dropping me off i heard him for 3.5mile

i do, just to see who the t**t is doing twice the speed limit on our road its a realy long straight so we get alot of them trying to loose there licence.

i dont need to get up when i hear the loudest growl its leeny 2 streets away

and i don't know where there chocolate piston thing came from, just heard it one day, my best mates mum and step dad both have scoobies and have had no probs Ones the bug eyed shape but with full prodrive kit and etc etc, big ceramic brakes, 300bhp morrettes, etc

I only personally know of one person melting a piston, he was going from 4th to 5th and got 3rd (on the motorway). Was a 350bhp RB5











Im guessing most will be down to poor maintanance and running on incorrect fuel (JDM on 95-7)

Theres a Sti around thats 500bhp on Standard internals!

Made a big bang in his pocket! He bought a type r shell (2 door impreza not gay CTR) and is building it up to 600/600 (Bhp/ft/lb). Think he said he's up to 30 odd k at the moment!

early scoobies suffered more with piston slap than melting pistons but back on topic im guilty of turning round when i hear a loud exhaust and of knowing my mates cars from about half a mile away
