Regardless of them being tacky or not, you'd think a new car would come with car mats!

The Pulsar's got some that came with it, a 5 piece set, which is lucky as they're usually robbed on the ship coming over here, but I'm well glad I've got them despite them not being the prettiest.

Get yourself a little list together so when the car arrives you have your list so you don't forget things to check. Go over every inch of the bodywork aswell and make sure there's no dents, scratches, dodgy paintwork etc. The amount of stories I've read about dodgy new cars being shipped out.

My manager had his replacement to his brand new S3, also brand new, and we went over it and ended up sending it back. There was a scratch all down the side of the car, an alloy had been touched up (badly), scratch on the bootlid, wrong interior (full black interior, but they put a white headlining in! ). You get the idea.

Just don't let the excitement get the better of your judgement! If you have to wait a bit longer, so be it!

well it was alot extra for lorry delivery and its 100 miles from my house and didnt have the chance to have time off and get it really, and its 100 less running in miles

Well definately do as Des said, check it over, and make sure they gave it a good clean after the 100 mile drive!

Lets hope the driver isnt a nonse and thrashes the fook out of it
