iv just done it again becaus ei was certain my car was doin better than that, so went on google maps on got the exact miles covered and it worked out at 35.96mpg which is more like it lol

im doing mine at the moment put £25 in fron bottom of red worked out at about just over 21 Litres. ive used about half of that now so say 10 litres and done 90 odd mile

Done 185 miles to 21 litres of fuel. works out at dead on 40Mpg, well happy with that figure from the rattler!

day to day driving is purely town and short journeys-- around 180 miles to a tank
on a nice long run on the motorway gets me around 320 miles.

Thats because alot of chavs don't know how to drive just find ditches.

i can squeeze 400 miles out of my tank when it is full.
I filled up on friday £55 @ 118.9. I'm currently sitting at 350miles with the needle sitting just above the red.

No idea I just keep going till it clicks.
It was being a pain this time and it started clicking from about 48 onwards.
I'm pretty sure its held more before but that was when I had drained it pretty much dry. That was the time I got mega miles out of my tank.

i average approx 22mpg back and forth to work and thats not death or glory driving either...i get 320 miles between fillups and they run at about 70 quid a go.

suffice to say im on the look for a cheap diesel runabout.

I feel the same, on maximum economy drive in the 2.5 v6 on the motorway ive made 44Mpg

Tank is £70 Does about 580 miles

The average i can manage round local roads is 30mpg if i take it nicely so do about 390 miles

And if i do the same but give it beans abit thats done to 300 miles for £70
