sorted the pedal box out once again as the clip came off...
fixed my exhaust which also fell off tonite
and while under the car realised the gearbox is leakin
will a 1.1 box fit on mine ???

fitted diy de-cat and standard 16v exhaust at long last. so much better than the blocked up shitty little fiesta downpipe and backbox that came on the car

jumped to comclusions thinkin my gearbocx was dead.......my catted had collapsed
smashed it out today so its fixed
it sounds even better now wen goin down gears it burbles n pops loudly

I fitted a new wishbone today Only took about an hour, most of it was standing around lol. Luckily i just finished as it started to piss down, and now 20mins later its sunny again lol

update on the last 3 days

fitted new interior panels that i cracked taking the seat out once, also cleaned it

fitted new wiper stalks as they had a funny 5 mins and caught fire

fitted 2 new pinch bolts on the bottom arms, and then had her tracked, she was 8mm out!

After a stonechip had decided to infiltrate my paintwork, and cause a patch of exposed metal on my wing, I decided to rectify the problem on Saturday and got down to doing this:



And with the new wing on, she's looking normal again...



And whilst I had the sideskirts off, I thought I'd give my sills a bit more protection...



Just bits and bobs I've wanted doing for a while and finally got round to doing it

sweet, better then spot welded on wings ala most old fords i have owned which as they rot alot, you would have thought bolt on wings would have been sensible to let people sort it themselves

Ohhhhh yes, bolt on, bolt off!

Wouldn't have done it if it was welded on The hardest part was getting the fekkin arch liners back on properly as getting them off was a pain because they use stupid plastic screw clip thingies that you've got no chance unscrewing. Found some new clips in the local parts store that done the trick after I'd buggered all the rest though

I never understood why panels like this should be welded, suppose it's a way of making more dollar out of us for body repairs and the like
