gti interior gash? its nice half leather with electric seats hardly gash fella, and also i think 5 blobs of tigerseal and two self tappers are sufficient enough to hold on one arch theres a blob for each stud, after all my kit is held on by tigerseal and self tappers because i didnt want to drill holes in the arches on a 15 year old car :thumbsup:

I'm not bothered about the GTi seats to be honest, theyre gone now and the bloke was more than happy with them

Wingbacks all the way, especially as they actually bolt up to the mounts in the car. After finding one bolt holding the 60% split rear seat in place, nothing holding the 40% seat in place and no bolts attaching the back of the subframes to the chassis I was more than happy to refit the wingbacks !!

fitted 2 yoko parada spec 2 on the front, which rob gave me for nothing. cheers chap :)

tomorrow rob is fitting rear brake pads to my st :lol:

fitted the new disc's, finshed off the head & cam belt, got it running. Off tomorrow to pick up a Programmable Emerald ECU for the next step. Only down side is insurance is due end of month and they now want an extra £50 for cams and ECU!!

Im not a small person to be honest, not huge either, but i prefer recaro's compared to wingbacks, hold you in better and all that rubbish lol. Wingbacks are good for long driving though, nice and comfy... Oh and wingbacks are easier to sleep in than recaros... i know that because i have fallen asleep in both seats - not while driving either, just thought i would point that out :) lol

bought some bits for the bus...new genuine and correct steering wheel (reads pants down!!) and the broken bits of trim..one of which was me!

its sooo tempting to get cams and monster front mount...and do the 3" throttle body mod.. 350bhp is calling lol!
however the suspension is next on the mod list :lol:

brought some body panels to put in the attic for respray later this year. should have been resprayed these last 2 weeks ready for the show season, but nephew decided to have a baby :doh: :lolz:

Fixed my boot popper today so it now pops when the motor goes, nice simple fix as well. Turns out the rod had fallen out of the little green clip, all back in and popping nicely

Also changed the temperature sensor in the top of the thermostat to see if that fixes the overfuelling issue

wired up my electric /heated mirrors, also got my cental locking working again, now i just need to solder and heat shrink the wires!!
