300ish. Depending, around town the Si guzzles fuel but when I got it I went 400 miles on the full tank and still had some left.

just been to scotland, through the twisties etc.

did a 721 mile round trip using 83.94 litres of fuel,

39.05 mpg.

not bad for a 2.0 st. :chill:

thats with 65-70 mph driving and loads of hills.

learning not to accelerate hard saves loads of fuel. im in 5th by the time i hit 35-40mph. :lol:

i suppose all the 50 mph roadworks help as well.

I was considering taking up rallying. Then I realized how much it would cost.
When I want to save petrol I change at like 1300rpm :lolz:

while i been using my mum skoda fabia be using that trip computer and been getting 60-70mpg how i love that compard to 10mpg lol

also while driving that worked out that changing at low rev (chiris 1300) uses more cause having to put foot down more to move so a few more revs will save you more 2000-3000 :thumbsup:

I thought that was the case. In the way the engine has to use a bit more effort to get going, but I dunno, I kinda went by jeremy clarkson with his also trip. He said he ne'er went over 1200 revs. Must be easier in a diesel

£10 = 50miles at £1.059 = 9.44 liters

9.44/4.5= 2.09

50miles / 2.09= 23.9mpg

that was very slow driving around town and keeping the rpm between 2000- 3000rpm

I've done 100 miles and I don't think the gauge has moved more than 1/2mm
lol 100 miles in 24 hours!!

i managed 315 to my last tank in the cossie. thats the drive to rolling road day and some of the way back.

I think changing my cam timing helped there alittle

So the most I got out of £30 in the si aS 240 miles.

The 106 I put £20 in and got 220.

I've just filled up with £35 so will be back for the result! (hoping it's good as I need to start saving money!)
