You wont see it so there is no point.

The idea of wrapping the manifold is to keep the heat in, so engine bay temps are kept down, and it makes the gasses move faster. Downside is the heat goes into the head and can cause warpage and things. Plus if its a crappy made manifold, it will crack. Best option is to get it ceramic coated.

Wrapping it after the manifold like at the de-cat and all the way back is just pointless.

I have about 50ft of heat wrap here, but that is for my downpipe and the front of the exhaust, along with a turbo blanket, purely for heat purposes. I don't think I will be wrapping my tubular manifold as A. it looks shit hot and B. it looks shit hot.

Iv been thinking about heatwrapping my manifold, tried to do some researching whether it makes a difference on my car with standard airbox but can't find much.
Is that heat going into the engine issue happen in many cases or should mine be ok?

It makes sense to wrap the downpipe next to the starter as it is pretty close, especially if you have the longer version

Wouldn't really be worth doing that with the air box tbh. Standard airbox's are designed to suck in cooler air directly into the engine so there would hardly be any difference.

Just done a small amount of research and it won't be much help but in situations where your car is idling like waiting for a 1/4mile or dyno run wrapping your air box and MAF to give a correct reading will benefit.
