Why do you need t1r's? Probably won't notice a difference in then to some good mid range, I haven't seen a different from t1r to falkens.

Plus there quite soft so won't last long.

i was thinking about them chris but the fact they dont do a 50 profile is a bit of a pain in the arse?

elward, i dont drive enough as it is so i dont think it would affect me but ill take that on board ta.

the whole reason im going for this set up is because dan p recommended it and to be fair thats his trade. if theres any better suggestions im all ears.

thansk cs, you have atleast 3 times my power so i can understand why :P

Tbh i would save some on tyres just get some good all round mid range tyres, T1R are scary in the wet so are paradas in this weather.

A good tyre are Uniroyal rain expert.
Kumho Ecsta's
Falken ze912's

All are good all round tyres.

Had T1R's on the si and they've lasted bloody well and I personally found them Very grippy in all conditions (obviously in the wet people will drive a bit more cautiously)

Had them for two years and when I sold the car they were still on 4mm at the front which I didn't think was bad as they got abused

Everyone in the performance Honda world stays away from these.

Though out of everyone I speak to my tuner did mention that they were OK in the snow, on a par with cheap budgets in those conditions.

But they are what they are, mid-range, mediocre performance, pricey happy tyres.

http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?s ... preis_down

That's all the 195/45/15's on My Tyres. Obviously the most expensive tyre is the one I have. They're good for road tyres IMO.

If you insist on T1R's then get them from Julian - http://rarerims.co.uk/wheelshop_tyres_p ... roduct=T1R

Give him a call, he may do you a deal.

According to tyrereviews, the best all rounders are the goodyear vector 4 seasons, they came second place with no downsides.
http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Goody ... easons.htm
Vredestein Quatrac 3 came first but apparently they are a bit noisy

I think they're great tyres too! Especially for the money they cost. Dry, great, wet, great.

Yoko A539 I cannot get my head around as to why people rate these, they couldn't even handle 90bhp from my Si!

I found ecstas good. Used to get them really cheap too when I worked in a garage as we was a dealer for them.

Ben: you will get soooo many mixed reviews on tyres. People say my nankang ns2's are shit, but others say they are probably one of the best budget tyres you can get.

I've had dry, wet and bald use out of them, on race track and on normal road and I think they are pretty damn awesome for the price of them.

Parada's though I think was amazing, never had a tyre grip so much even in the wet.

Like I say, you will get mixed reviews on tyres all the time, no one is ver right.

What you'll probably find is people give their opinion on tyres when they have worn out suspension, mis-aligned tracking, old dampers and springs, incorrect camber, different cars with different wheelbases, running different psi on different/incorrect profiles, bad experiences when the tyres are still cold, etc etc it goes on.

So always remember that. My Michelin's are haddock at the minute due to my worn out, sloppy, mis-aligned setup.
