The other car I use/part own (a Focus Zetec Estate) has decided to dislike its engine and its about to die. The car/body etc is in incredible condition so I need to get and fit another engine. Its got a S3 Zetec Blacktop in.

The help I require is to source for cheap and fit another one. I can fit it myself but its obviously not a 1 man job - however I need to find a decent engine to fit in its place.

I am located in Bristol - any helpers? Payment in Beer, biscuits, full frontal nudity etc needed ASAP....

lol at the last bit.. erm i would think either ebay or a breakers yard near you would be the best bet!

having a headache tbh - shouldve done my research before starting this.

Turns out I did the impossible (allegedly) by getting the engine out the top - It HAS to come out the bottom with the box attached then slide it away....

I got the new engine back in through the top as well - but had to release the gearbox to do so...... Now I have the gearbox on the floor - the engine in place and am struggling to get the box aligned and back up!!!! AAARGGGHHH!!!

ah yes we always did my fiestas and my sisters escorts from underneath for this reason

engine and box is in - all mounted up - loom all in place - just the finishing touches to do - fit starter, tighten AC pump, fit aux belt, fit the last few remaining bellhousing bolts, refit the driveshafts, turn the key....
