Hi guys, i have noticed a couple of patches of rust on the door and below the filler cap on my fiesta and wondered how the best/cheapest way to stop it and repair it is?

if its a mk3 there are various ways to tackle the filler cap - with replacement panels etc...
but if your looking at the cheapest 1/2yr solution i'd probably suggest one of the treatment packages (such as kurust?)
don't expect amazing results though.

new panel. its the only way. mind you my mines a mk3 not 3.5 and i had some minor rust, the bodyshop didnt replace the panel, they ground it out, its not come back and its been through a winter since, wish i hadnt bothered really, shed.

depends on how bad it is, gis a pic!

id go for the new panel if i were you, i had mine treated and reprayed on my old xr2i and in about 5 months it came throu again, id say if you are planning to keep it then i wouldnt cut any corners!!
