I'm sure that, by now, some of you have been wondering what on earth that banner at the top of the page advertising Thunderbird 18 is all about.

Well, with the next Sixfields now announced, I can reveal to those who have been in the dark the legend of this awesome vehicle!

Thunderbird 18 is a 1989 Granada 2.0i GL. It cost us £77, and we're driving it 1500 miles across France, Italy, Austria and the Alps to Prague. It's all part of CzechWrecks 2006 (http://www.czechwrecks.com), a banger rally in which every car must cost under £100, and it's all in the name of charity.

We're being sponsored to take part in the rally, with all proceeds going to the East Anglian Air Ambulance, and we're currently trying to spur as many people as we can into donating to our cause.

For this reason, Des, Ry and Scotty have kindly offered me the chance to bring Thunderbird 18 along to the next Sixfields, in order to try and raise some more donations. More details can be found in the latest Sixfields post, but for now, I'll leave you with these pictures:
