Powerflow arn't the best, they're just expensive because they're 'custom made' to your want.

I have a Peco back box lying about if anyone wants it. Hardly any use to me! :red:

Mines a Powerflow cat-back from a Powerflow dealer in Bromley. It cost me ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£290 fitted. Sounds very loud!

A lot of people complain about the quality of the work and the metal but like Des said its a franchise so it depends on who's doing it. Mine's last a year or so already with no problems (apart from the loudness!)

as said ^^^powerflow can be a little hit and miss, iv'e seen a really awful steel system with backbox, blew like a blowy thing

i had a powerflow catback on my car when i bought it and it is the worst piece of shit i have ever seen

it looked as if it had been bent with a lump hammer n they had welded the backbox on at a 90 degree bend because they had bent it to high over the rear beam

il try and get sum pic's it was terrible id rather put a cherry bomb on my car :lol:

mines got a powerflow cat back....(as far as i know) in stainless its very well made.....fit could be a little better but its not terrible...i like the noise...polite on idle....not too loud.....boot it and she barks like a good un.....(single box systems are an aquired taste)

i know its a little trip for you....pipecraft at basildon are pretty reasonable...price wise....thier work is good ive seen it and i certainly wouldnt slate it and ive not actually heard the place slated for poor work yet!

I have a powerflow back box with a 3" tail pipe and a centre section now.

The welding wasn't the best in the world around the actual tail pipe, but I figure the other day that autosol seems to strip anything you put it on, and it took all the crappy weld burns right off, and it looks like a mirror now :lol:

As Des said, it's all down to the franchise you go to. I went to Big City Tyres in Notts, as did Graham I think, and they were very reasonable, and knowledgable about what they were doing which always makes me confident. Ie: they could tell me the benefits and disadvantages I might come across.

They are definately worth a try, they are only as expensive as the middle/higher end of the "retail" market.

as someone up there said.. the work varys on where you go.. weve got 2 local-ish to us and one about to open in telford *woohoo* so ill have to let you know what that ones like

the Mr Tyre one in wolverhampton is pants.. they did a catback system on my mums car and it knocks and bangs like theres no tomorrow! very poor fitting

then the other one is in stafford however i cant remeber the name.. but they did an amazing job on stepdads primera... couldnet fault it ever.

can i ask why you're wanting a powerflow exhaust over the likes of magnex etc.
i know who my money would go to. the build quality on the magnex are brilliant.

Maybe because that whatever you go for on an Si, it's not going to make much of a difference?

If you know a franchise is of good quality for Powerflow, there's sh!t all wrong with them.
