Hey i wanna lower my fez but not sure whether i need to buy springs, shocks, dampers or all 3 really!!

anyone shed some light for me??

im a bit of a numpty when it comes to this im afraid :?

If you want to lower it on a budget then just get some springs. The springs will be of a stiffer rate and therefore as well as lowering your centre of gravity you'll stiffen up the ride. However, for more improvement the standard dampers should be swapped for stiffer dampers which have also been shortened to match the shorter springs.

Really, it's up to you. I noticed an improvement when I went from springs only to a matched set of springs and dampers. It felt more together and less twitchy.

I had a Spax VSX kit on mine FYI.

I also had a SPAX VSX kit on mine, very good for the money, just don't go g-max or Pi.

my gmax kit (40mm) is smooth and good enough for a road car in my eyes, my mates spax kit (60mm) on his rs18000 is like riding on wheels of solid rock, lowering more that 35mm on springs makes the car a little bouncy

I found the Gmax kit very harsh on my old Si but did improve the handling a lot, dunno if Eibach make any springs for the Si, but they do make some good stuff *cough* springs for my ZS *cough*

Ive got some gmax springs on mine -40mm ..

Im planning on getting a full kit if i can ever afford it

Also thinking about -50 of -60mm instead but some bumps are harsh as fuck here
