Right:
You need to run your power cable from the battery to the boot. There's a rubber grommit on the drivers side of the engine bay. I ran mine behind the sound proofing on the bulkhead just in front of where the wiper motors are. Push the cable through the grommit which is often easier said than done but give it time. Then just run it under the kick panels, through the quarter panel and into the boot.
Your Earth needs to connect to the bodywork. There's some earthing points for the rear lights on the rear panel. They're just 8/10mm bolts so connect the amp to one of these. Did me fine.
RCAs need to be run from the headunit to the boot again, you can go down the oppisite side of the car if you wish although I've never had any interference problems.
Remote. This skinny ass piece of wire just sends a bump of current down to switch the amp on when you turn the headunit on. You need to find the remote out on the headunit, mine is just part of the wiring harness so just connect it to that. I've put blue, but it could be any colour. Check the manual or just randomly chop like I did as I don't have a manual.
That should be your lot. Thankfully, you only have to do this once. The GTI took about 3hours to fit as I had to hack away at more sound proofing than I care to remember. Fiesta, if you know what you're doing, shouldn't take any longer than an hour, give it two for a novice.
