As title, I think I apply for way to many jobs Being unemployed does this to you.

The other week, applied for 36, in the last 7 days I have applied for about 15. Fair enough some are just random ones which im like yeah fuck it, why not apply, dont get if you dont apply!

I have had literally 9 phonecalls today about jobs I applied for and I am like ermmmmmm yeahhhh I remember that

Got 1 interview on friday for our rivals - Vauxhall, but only in the parts department so its not like I can sabotage their cars while working on them... Sigh.

Others are just about positions they have, one sounded ok - recruitment consultant with a nice 18k a year to go with it + commision... not bad. She will let me know if I have made it to her 'short list' and go from there... I hope she wear a short skirt because I will not be short in the trousers if she does.

Another for an insurance company, sounded shit though but I said ok to it and they are going to let me know.

Another for furniture sales - dont even remember that one

Some other random ones too. Im just like oh fuck sake

PLUS! I have just put in for an apprenticeship at Vector Aerospace to do a 3 year NVQ course to get an aerospace engineer qualification working on helicopters - militairy and personel full time.

So, just have to see how it all goes now

Take the first job offered to you and start earning! Quit after a week if something better comes up!

Once the reply from that helicopter job comes through if its positive definitely walk out of all and any jobs and take it!!

Well, I had the phonecall today! Stage one complete!

Next stage is a longer telephone interview, and then I think after that its either a face to face interview or the results whether I have been accepted or not. I will find out when I get the phonecall I suppose.

Wage is a bit crap, especially for the first year - only like £10,000 a year, but thats expected for being an apprentice. But it increases for the 2nd year upto £12k, and again for the 3rd year. So once the 3rd is here i'll be on a half decent wage - £14,000. Suppose its better than the crappy job seekers money i'm on at the moment where I get £50 a week to myself after bills and stuff has gone out

Then hopefully once the 3rd year is up and I'm properly employed it will be even more.

I really hope I get this though, being a mechanical aerospace engineer working on militairy and personnel helicopters for a living... what an awesome job! Beats working on cars thats for sure! Oh well, I still have my level 3 automotive qualification if I ever need it

So if I get this, I just need to find myself a job between now and september and then HELLOOOOOOOOO helicopters!

Cheers guys. Had the 2nd phonecall today. Some woman asked me a load of questions. Hopefully I did alright answering them... I rambled on a bit a couple of times lol.

Should know within 72 hours if I am suitable for the job and been selected. She said it might take longer due to the vast amount of applications they have got an need to go through them all.

So if I get selected, i'll need to go for a face to face interview and thennnnnnnnnnnn who knows.

Mine didn't come through They sent an email to which they must have written my address wrong or something. it could have been an acceptance or rejection but either way all the interviews are done.

Hope you get this one it'd be really good! Think i'm gonna hand loads of CV's to tinting places and the like. See if there interested in a trainee lol
