How much do these engines go for, what would you do for gearbox?
And would the mounts be a case of putting the engine in and looking where to weld them? I like this idea alot. How would you go about the drive shafts?
If i have ths balls to jump into the deepened id like to do this, my car is on a drive doing nothing so a strip down and weld up and one of these engines in would be achievable however long it would take, paul we need to talk lol

The B18C4 engine is 170bhp, compared to the B18C6 in the ITR at 187BHP, but the C4 Pistons, cams, gearbox ratios are much better for turbocharging. The LSD is slightly different I think, but they both have one.

Probably pick one up with a gearbox for £500/600 if you're lucky.

A forged example should be fine for 450BHP, standard would be around 300BHP safely, though my tuner ran his standard C4 Aerodeck with 411BHP for a year or so with no problems on a Borg.

Even standard though would be impressive.

When the time comes to another project (if ever) I will seriously get some measurements and things done to see if this is possible!

My only issues in my head right now are the width of the engine & box combined.. if it fits between the 2 chassic rails in a fiesta engine bay then thats good! Would just involve some interesting mounts welding in whatever places they need to be in, most likely swap to a pedal box setup for clutch & brakes to give more room in the bay.. standard servo would be in the way of the engine.. although if space permits you could run one from the brake pedal direct.

Custom shafts made up for length and to fit ford hubs.

Do-able, as is any engine conversion lol

pretty much - the guy is putting a K20A in a mk5 fiesta - but its long term due to him having a CRX project and other cars

someone said he should call it a vtec-s

It's still in progress, currently stripped at my lock-up alongside the CRX. So many projects going on I try to feed my income into all of them, racing the CRX in the VTEC Challenge next year. Bought an Accord Type-R a few months ago for a daily runner and looking at another ATR in Weston (going cheap as it has piston slap but I'll rebuild it).

The Ph2 engine, box and wheels will be up for sale next week. I have paid for my subscription to start a For Sale thread but hasn't been activated.
