Round our way, in bumpkin land its the Lithuanian/Estonian/Romanian crew who have no insurance. Why would you need to if your car ain't registered with the dvla? Must be ace driving on foreign number plates with no tax, mot or insurance.

I know a lad from brum, we went to look at cars for the 1500 mark. Has every secondhand car in Birmingham been oranges and badly repaired?

Well he wanted a Clio, seemed to all be sold by back street garages run by Asians. All had overspray and no history. But as you say, depends where you go.

Yeah mate, I went to look at a Pulsar over by Bristol Rd, exactly that - backstreet garages run by asians, the thing was a shitter, as was every other car there. Had the same when I was looking for an Si. You really need to go through all the shit to find the good ones unfortunately. That's why I shop elsewhere (got my blue Si from Rotherham, and my Pulsar from Yeovil)
