hi everyone i bought a m reg 16v si about three weeks ago mainly for my girlfriend but after driving the car about for a while have come to really like it myself, good handling, good turn of speed for a 1.6 and nice and comfortable to drive. the car is in really good condition apart from a few very small rust spots which am in the process of taking care off and the interior is mint. the milage is about 73,000 so i thought i would start to modify it, started of with simple things got rid of the old si, 16v and fiesta badges and replaced them with newer style ones along with new ford badges, a mk 4 rear wiper and tinted the rear lights red, and colour coded the mirrors, just simple cheap things that improve the car a little bit will move on to more serious stuff at a later date ive got plenty of questions to ask but will do them one at a time. my first question is has anybody colour coded the standard rear spoiler, read somewhere it cant be done, would it be better to buy a rs or 2i coloured spoiler and just respray that any advice

also are there many people from the wirral on here cos there is loads of si fiesta's round here

Yeah you can just take it off and respray the spoiler if you want to.

I don't know about many people living near Wirral but i know one of the members (Chris) is from Merseyside.

hello and welcome :D there is a fue from liverpool on here

its best to just get the rs spoiler n re-spray it coz the other spoiler the paint ull crack realy easy
