Does anyone know of anywhere I can buy (cheap as possible) some flexi exhaust pipe or similar to replace a cat on a zetec downpipe? Because I got a downpipe over the weekend from Will (will121) to basically cut the cat out and replace it with some pipe to make a DIY de-cat. Now, seeing as it needs to go slightly at an angle im thinking either a long peice of flexi or a flexi - straight pipe - flexi combo?

Before you say - just knock the cat out, thats a no, i dont want the shitty noise it makes and it will probably be just as good as not worth it due to possible pressure loss in the system ect

if ya gona make a home made decat mate, its worth cuttin cat in half and weldin it back over the straight pipe so wen ya look under the car it still looks like theres a cat on ther if ya know wat i mean, id cut the heatshield off the cat too cos when i did mine i left it on and it makes a horrible rattle noise on overrun
