I'll miss the cheaper fuel soon enough. Clio is recommended to run on 97ron+ but I've heard people do a 95-95-97+ rotation (use only 95 and pinking can develop) so in some cars you wouldnt expect a need for it there is.

in the fez I'd only ever bother with 95 as there just isn't a marked improvement or a detrimental effect to the engine if higher grade is never used.

:lol: I totally agree, but cars feel "bogged down" With supermarket fuel/shell/bp.. actually it varies from person to person, but I stick fuel in and it runs..

for some reason i get more miles to a tank using BP/Shell/Texaco than the supermarket brands, thought it was me being a drip but i actually done 2 runs of full tank on either fuel and i proved it! sombody know why?

I will stick whatever is the cheapest in. even if its a penny. cant feel any difference, get the same miles per tank.

To be fair its usually the shell garage by me. The esso is usually a penny more and b.p is 6p more! wtf? however if im at work its tesco.

I use Shell for performance, even the cheap stuff is fine in an SI. However, Sainsbury's fuel (which is BP yet somehow isn't the same) is very good for long distance consumption.

i use momentum in the si, purely because ya get better backfires :lol:
but shell is best in mr2 due to it been an import, tried vp 100 leaded in that too and made slight difference, it did stink though and was yellow :?
