doesn't seem to be any massive drops of power up top, so I'd just red line it so that you land back into your power zone as soon as possible (4000+)

The torque on that graph is stupidly flat until 4000rpm! and then it barely drops. good work!

Of course I've just stated the obvious here. I like doing that.

i used to rev mine to 5500 as thats when my power band would start to drop off although it did see over 6000 as some one in a pulsar was playing with me :devil:

My last C2 run, before it was mapped it gained power right to 7200rpm, where it hit the limiter before 7k on this run.

Gordon was very impressed with the torque for a 1.6 its amazing.

The "red line" on my Si was 6500, So thats where I changed gear when giving it some :lol:

my silver top zetec reved to 7300 rpm, and had cams and headwork, and was still making power right upto the limiter

The St170 engine also revs to 7300 rpm, but ive got ARP bolts fitted to the engine, above this and your tempting the oil pump to fail

Yes the silvertop ARP conrod bolts are 8mm, and the blacktop where 9mm

direct fit, no probs,

again i just fitted for piece of mind, once the work is done to the engine over the next couple of months ill raise the rev limit to 7500 rpm, but only if its still making power up to that amount of revs

i cant do any more than about 6000 in mine prob go right the way when ive finally put all the engine back together and run the rings in. just keep thinking about the rings and how much damage im doing all the time. lol
