to be honest. as much of a fight as this is going to generate. im not that fussed.. it doesnt matter if its a 1.0 uber poverty spec or an RS..you still get EXACTLY the same rot loving mk 3 or 3.5 fiesta shell. all for 2 letters on a log book and being taxed because its an RS. in the days of MK 1/2 escorts the RS badge meant something..there were alot of differences between an RS and a standard shell. theres whole books dedicated to the differences different thickness panels in certain areas strengthening plates different suspesion pickup points there are a long list of things. by the time the MK3 fiesta came out the rs badge was just that. i know there were a few mechanical differences but not things you couldnt just bolt to another car. and to all intents and purposes it would be the same. The RS1800 was flogging a dead horse in my opinion. if you want an RS get one. not one of fords badge engineering exercises, and have your pants taken down for the privelege. this isnt a rant,dig, a go, or anything like that. its a statement of fact.

Yes I would LOVE an RST MK3 Fiesta, a lovely MINT one, but the price they go for is daft.

I would sooner have a poverty spec minter for £400 off some old woman, transplant a rotton RST stuff over to it and have a cheaper RS.

Like Jam said, on a MK3 Fiesta an RS badge means naff all...

You could stick a badge on any MK3 with the RS kit on and nobody could tell the difference lol

Only reason Im welding up my RS1800 shell is because I might as well... nothing to do with it being an "RS" on the logbook
