my iphone is the best phone ive had, i wanted a sony ericsson when i got my contract but ended up with a nokia which was shit!

must admit, after owning the HTC HD2 for 2 weeks, and owning a google android phone, apple does have the nicest and most usable features.

It may not have the scope of windows mobile or android, but it does what it does better than everything else.

My W880i is better mobile phone.

Its more mobile and it can be used as a phone, so is therefore the best mobile phone.

i'll wait and have a new nokia when my upgrade is due, the lack of bluetooth and crappy camera puts me off the iphone, sat nav for life on the nokias gets my vote as i found it really usefull in london when trying to find harrods etc....

Now one thing I am going to say and this isn't so people don't get an iphone as such.

It gets me when people say "when I am due an upgrade", you don't have to take an upgrade, instead of still paying £30-£40 a month you can usually keep you current phone and get your monthly bills down to around £10.

Basically its upgrade or save money... they is more than one option.

It is my inner accountant speaking here.

ps. There is nothing smart about smart phones, they don't even fit in my pocket!

Sorry to butt in on the debate but do any of you have bluetooth cd players and do they work well with the iphone? getting a new player and the choice is between a unit with or without bluetooth, cost about £40-£50 different... is the bluetooth worth it.

I love my iphone but as i still have 12 months to go its more likely to be the 5th gen i upgrade to rather than the 4th. I've always steered clear of sony phones as my sister's broke 5 times within 2 months, eventually the company gave her the better phone on the market and that broke as well she gave up and got an htc. Sony's appear to be cameras with a bolted on phone that rarely works.

My iphone is by far the best phone ive had. had the 3g, was a bit slow, and even worked for 9 months with a smashed screen, eventually died, not getting any signal and sold it for £90 as it was, so even held a bit of value considering it was allmost dead

3gs is faster, camera is better, even though still rubbish!

ive always been tempted by the iphone. May have to see how this one compares.
Went back to Nokia with my current contract and I'm bailing on them as soon as its over. Never had so much trouble or had to alter so many system files on a phone before.

So I'm going either iphone or samsung (or maybe sony)

And my Iphone 3G has been going for 24 months, a crack that branches into two. for about a year now. The only thing I find with it is its a bit slow to respond nowadays but until it breaks I ain't spend out £50 a month for another contract. Never again! lol

I have 2 staggered contracts so one will always end in time for the next or new iPhone. Iam pre-ording and collecting on the day cause iam a big iPhone fan, started with 16GB 3G and currently have 32GB 3GS. The Iphone 4 looks amazing and new features sound good, but i was hoping for a 64GB version.

Only other thing iam disappointed about are networks seem to be putting a cap now on data\internet use. My contract with 02 was unlimited data, now appears when i sign a new contract ill be getting 500mb a month limit, and every extra 500mb is gonna cost £5 We have the technology but dont have the networks to support them we need more wi-fi hotspots
