I've blown a speaker in my zetec, the car is only seven months old.

I've never blown a speaker before, i went to fraud and they are saying i've been driving with high volume. I do have them loud, but not stupidly enough to damage them.

they are saying i have to pay, i dont think i do.



help?

on the other hand my xr2i passed its mot easily today.

i was told on the fiesta st there is a year warranty on speakers

surely if the speakers should be able to cope with the max volume of the head unit. if there's no warning about it in the manual i'm sure you'll have them by the balls

Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Just tell the tossers the facts, everytime you walk into a dealership, expect to be dealt with exactly as you want to be and if you're not, don't give in.

You've just bought a car from them with warranty, fuckers need to give you the right treatment. Otherwise why offer warranties?

next time you go in say "its not very good customer satisfaction" they hate them words lol as if you complain things will get sorted as customer satisfaction scores are publicly known,
and in the audio guide there will be some thing about usage of the head unit volume and speekers
