1st Car @ age 17 - 1998 (S reg.) Polo 1.6 - Bought for £750 , with 52K on the clock , Mint. Lasted 9 months , Scrapped with a dent in every panel , no reverse gear, handbreak ripped out of the floor and a damaged cylinder head - It blew a spark plug out and took about 5MM of cylinder head with it !

2nd Car - Age 17 - 1989 (G reg.) Fiesta XR2i - Bought for £160 with a blown headgasket , repaired, driven for about a month , parked at a mates , tree fell on it. Scrapped.

3rd Car - Age 18 - 2000 (X reg.) Vauxhall Astra 2.0 SRi - Bought for £3000 , sold about a year later. hateful handling , dog slow , boring.

4th Car - Age 19 - 1994 (L reg.) Honda Prelude 2.2 Vtec - Cant remember how much I pad for this. Was kitted up , lowered , on OZ racing 17's. Had it a week , engine let go BIG style (Oil slick and engine parts strewn over 2 lanes of dual carriage way ) , Had new engine fitted , only for car to fail MOT 6 months later.
