1: Sandhurst MOT Centre

Did the brakes on my mates 106 for her mot, tuesday night one of the brakes fell off whilst she was driving! They are fixing it again and giving her a free service, but she could have died i'd avoid at all costs

2: Nationwide Auto Centre (also sandhurst )

The work is not to bad, but they are a bunch of rip off merchants! Rob works there at the moment, and is disgusted with the prices people are charged. Eg: A air flow meter on a Corsa B 1.2 came to £161 as they put a 50% margin on the part!

Absolutely ANY garage for the Pulsar. They either refuse to work on it, or charge the earth. Hence why I have a Pulsar specialist mechanic at the end of my phone any time of day, any day of the week, and he's dirrrrrrrrrrrt cheap!

Also, any Kwik Fit. Robbing cnuts.

yeah - kwik fit near me rape you! went in for one tyre cus i'd got a puncture and they started on about how all my tyres need replacing cus they're old and worn. £400 for a set of cheapo goodyears or summit. told them to do one and just replace the punctured tyre, old tyres passed mot fine a month later!

my mates genuine though, won't rip people off, even got in trouble with the area manager as he refuses to rip people off

I get exhaust rubbers and balancing and tracking for free though

A bloke at work paid for new tyres from them, to which they charged extra for EVERYTHING (weights, balancing, fitting) and also charged him for tracking. I asked him if they put his car up on ramps and attatched the sensors to his wheels to do the tracking, and he was confused.com. So they never actually done it.

Also told him he needed new pads and discs to which they quoted £180!!! So I done them for him for naff all apart from the cost of the discs and pads. £46! Saved him a fair whack there.

But it grieves me that they're like this, as this bloke doesn't know anything about cars, yet would have paid £180 for his brakes to be done!

yeah i know, most are barstewards.

i couldn't believe he gota ticking off for not ripping people off

I refuse to take my car to any garage.

They all rip you off.

I'd rather spend twice as long doing it myself than pay for labour charges.
