Mines had a reasonable thrashing these passed two months or so.

Wondering if the si gearbox has same ratios / is same as a normal fiesta 5 speed box?

Im pretty sure that my clutch and gearbox are gagging to be renewed.

Is it an option to have the gearbox stripped and rebuilt?
If so how much am i looking at? ?200?

Hopefully if I find out if the si gearbox is just a normal fiesta 5 speed box then i can decide if to get it rebuilt or not etc.

a gearbox will set you back about ?40 mate i've got one, but you live miles away.

the ratios will prob be different in the boxes, but any 1.6 box will do for your car, Si/Ghia 16v/XR/RS. ratios will change, but meh. might get to 60 quicker
