It's been over half a year since our last update folks!

In that time we've had a multitude of Sixfields meets in Northampton, even more members join up, and our community still continues to grow stronger by the day.

We've noticed quite a few people have had the winter blues, and with another expensive Christmas that's been and gone, a few problems with members cars and the January paypacket that seems to never arrive, it's been very testing indeed! But somehow we've all managed to survive smiling on the other side of it and now that the days are getting lighter as well, spirits are lifting a little more everyday too.

So what's new you ask? Well, the mainsite has had a slight update, with all pictures being replaced/updated. The members gallery has been removed for now whilst the newer version of this is put into production which we are working on currently, and a nice suprise is planned for all you lot on the site this Spring.

We also have organised a new rolling road session with Gordon @ Streetracers. The date is set for the 9th of March, 2008. Details can be found in the general section of the forum. Many thanks for Andy (andyleesy) for helping us sort out the payment for this. So make sure you get yourself down there - even if it's just to say hi on the day. This will be our first major event of the 2008 season - which will be followed by many Sixfields meets, FITP, Ford Fair, a RWYB day and hopefuly a few extra gatherings and pub meets!

Finally, FSi wishes everyone a happy new year! We love you all more than cheesecake. And that says a lot.

Thanks Guys and Girls

Welcome once again to FSi!

First off, I'd like to apologise for the lack of updates to the main page! We've all been very busy in other area's of our lives, and unfortunately, FSi has had to take a bit of a back seat. But since the last update, we've had a fair few things happen in the world of Fiesta-Si.com!

For starters, we had our very first rolling road day, with Fast Ford in attendance! The day was a great success, and everybody done their part to help make the day run as smooth as it possibly could. Most people were happy with their results, and there were a few surprise figures in there. But it was the people who made the day the great event it turned out to be, so we'd like to thank you for making it a day to remember! The issue of Fast Ford we will be in is out in a months time.

We also had our second stand at FITP! We had a superb turnout with members travelling from far and wide to attend. Unfortunately once again our allocated stand space didn't seem in line with the amount of tickets we sold and cars we had on the stand. And the weather, for the second year in a row, was awful. But it didn't let the community spirit dwindle! All our members who were there still had a fantastic time and the resilience shown in the face of poor weather was a credit to everyone who was there! Top job!

So, on a positive note, I shall finish off there. All I'll say is a big thanks to everyone for making the forum what it is! The community has grown more and more since last time we updated, and we're near the 1000 members mark. Hopefully a bit more exposure at Ford Fair and the Fast Ford rolling road shootout will increase our memberlist and get FSi the recognition it deserves! And with a big update coming very soon, I'm sure you'll all appreciate the work that will have gone into it.

Thank you!

Des, Ry, and Scott!

So where do we begin?

Fiesta-si.com has amassed a large number of members since we last updated, and our community has really grown leaps and bounds. We are ever thankful for the great comments and words we receive about our website, and we can only say thank you! We're so proud that everyone is so supportive of FSi. Thanks once again guys and gals!

Winter is just around the corner but already everyone is looking forward to FITP and Ford Fair next year, as well as talks about rolling road days in-between, along with our ever popular Sixfields meet in Northampton. Which reminds me to inform you of our huge Christmas meet in December! Please check the Sixfields section in our Events forum for the latest news of what's happening and who is coming!

We also have a big surprise for you in the coming months, with what we hope will be a great improvement to the site! In the meantime we will have a few new members car features coming along any week now that are, I must admit, way overdue!

Keep checking the forums for the latest news, enjoy yourselves and don't be afraid to ask for any help or advice. We have many skilled and talented members on our site from various backgrounds with a vast amount of knowledge to help you with. So from me, Des & Scott take it easy, and we'll be seeing a lot of you at Sixfields!

Firstly; a big thanks is in order for you guys and girls that continue to use the site. It's providing an excellent and close-knit group of Fiesta Si owners where we can all chat, talk about our cars, organise our events and ask for assistance.

It's been a year since we first put the site up and it's been growing well since. We don't have a huge number of members but the members of the site come back regularly giving a real sense of community on the site. We're thankful for your support in donations, visiting the site and a special thanks to Chris for mentioning us when his spankingly clean Si was featured in Performance Ford.

It's still early days but time moves fast and May is the month of the biggest Fiesta event in the Ford calendar with Fiesta in the Park at Wickstead Park near Kettering. We're proud to say we've got our own www.fiesta-si.com stand and we've got a thread in the General Forum where you can purchase your stand pass. All Fiestas are welcome on our stand and at a low cost of £6 what's stopping you getting your car on stand, letting people have a nose around at it and give you some feedback. Last years Fiesta in the Park was my second trip and following in the annual tradition, it was a blazing hot day and a great day out for all. With 100's of Fiestas on show from the modest early classics of the Mk1 XR2 to the latest offering from Ford the Fiesta ST, there is no finer place to check out your favourite little Ford.

We're now also running at full speed with thanks to our wonderful host cybermods.co.uk, with all our problems a speck on the horizon behind us. So another thanks is in order for Cyber.

That's a rap for this update but keep checking back as some further updates are planned over the site over the coming months.

And we thought all of our problems had been ironed out...

Again we are moving servers soon, due to something out of our control as well as Cyber's. We're already in talks with a few UK bases companies so don't fret. We'll have the site switched over with minimal fuss.. Infact we doubt you will even notice when it happens.

In the meantime if you would like to have your car featured in the member's gallery then please PM one of us on the forum and we'll let you know what you need to sort out for us. And if anyone wants to have a go at a Ford Culture write up then please contact us also. We are always willing to include you in the line up alongside our current members who are putting the final touches to their own write ups.

So stay positive about FSI. We need your full support still. You are part of a great community which has already helped out a lot of SI owners and Fiesta owners in general.

Well then fellow FSI members.. Here we are. We our now hosted with CyberMods on a nice and steady dual xeon pentium 4 server. Fiesta-si.com was born here, after taking our website through its growing period; we are now back home where we belong :)

Now we can have 100% of our attention on progressing our website and forum. All of our efforts can re-focus on our community, and not only listen to what people want, but achieve it as well.

So this is generally a update to let you all know that we are now home, safe and sound with the fire on, getting all warm and cosy ready for the winter months. So from all the FSI admin, we hope you can start enjoying the website fully again, and a special thanks goes to CyberMods for all the work he's done.

We coming back stronger than ever...

Firstly, as mentioned below, we've had a few problems with our hosting issues, and if it wasn't for our savior CyberMods, then we wouldn't have been able to even keep the forum online as much as we have been able to. So many thanks still go to him for continuing to host our forum.

So what's to happen now you wonder? Well the website is not fully complete, but it is up, and it will expand and continue to grow. So you will no doubt still see a few small issues. But on a positive note, more members car's will be a featured in the members gallery as well as a few new feature cars coming this way very soon. You may also notice the new section, click on it and think "erm - why's a Capri on fiesta-si.com?" well to answer that, were asking you lot to write about certain aspects of Ford's history, be it a car, an engine or anything to do with Ford that you may think others will have an interest in, be it your own story or the actual history of your chosen subject. More info can be found on the forums if your interested.

So stay locked in everyone, all the problems you see for now with FSi Will be fixed and sorted out. We're back and growing stronger.. nothing can stop us now.

Well guys, i have some bad news.. The hosting company we used it seems didn't like to pay their bills, and so without notice they have gone "missing" and connot be contacted. So first off the website might be having bandwidth problems until we can find a decent and more secure host.

Second off, the past 6 months of the forum seems to not want to restore into a new phpBB board. So i may have to say that we have lost all our members and posts... All i'd like to say at this point is FSi will return, and so will the forum. And i'll keep fighting to get the forum back up to where it was before. We've made such a great community so far and i can't let something like this die, i know Des and Scott feel the same way.

So if you could please bare with us, we will have this sorted within the week no matter what. I just hope this doesn't cause too many problems for you lot, as i don't know about you but i'm lost without the forum a little. Anyway thanks for listening and i will continue to put every evening and weekend into this place like i have from the start, and i hope you like the new look of the place, links will start working shortly.

Ok, so it's time for a fsi update for you all. We've been busy here over at fiesta-si.com ironing out all the bugs and doing quite a few updates. All of our content is up and running and we have a more for you in store. We would just like to take this time to say a quick Thank You to all of our members, who have bumped us past the 200 mark.

We're always looking to develop the site further and would like your input. If you think your car is worthy for its own page in our 'Members Cars' section then email one of the admin on the forum, and we'll stick you a page up. We welcome cars in various stages of their development, us modders are never finished so we understand if you're not 100% happy, neither are we!

We're also currently working on a few new bits for the site to keep it looking fresh and new content for new and old users. If you have any suggestions for the site email us, or pop a post up on the forum. Many thanks to you all, and especially Fast Ford Magazine for putting a snippet up about us in their Editorial section of Augusts issue of the Magazine. Cheers guys.

That's not all for now though, v1.3 is here and we hope you won't be disappointed with the constant updates.

Well, it's finally happened! Fiesta-Si.com has launched and we have to say, we're quite pleased with what we have achieved! It's taken a lot of late nights, a lot of preparation, a lot of shall we say, disagreements, but yes, it's here!

This site is aimed at the Ford Fiesta Si, be it the 1.4 8v, or the 1.6 16v, But we do also welcome any other Fiesta owner! Got an RS1800? Got an XR2i? Got a 1.1 Popular Plus? You're all welcome! If it's Ford and Fiesta, sign up!

So why did we decide to do this? We're already members of numerous car sites, but none of these specifically cater for the Fiesta Si. One late night chat brought this to light, so what would be the logical step? Create one! Lots of idea's were thrown about, lots of suggestions and lots of dreams to be quite honest, so it may well be inevitable we have missed some important things which will make the whole FSI.com experience all the more enjoyable! So we want you, the new users, to tell us what you think! A post will be put up for you to air your views and post you suggestions, all of which will be considered!

The Fiesta Si is a great base car to start off with your modifying life (and believe me, it can take over your life)! It has a strong chassis, a choice of 2 engine sizes, and is very cheap on insurance costs! But do a search for it on the Internet, and not that much comes up! So how many Si owners out there are there that miss the more popular sites for helping with the modifying and problem solving process, www.fiestaturbo.com being one of them! This site is a personal favourite of mine! It has a great bunch of people there, a busy forum, and the regulars who post that know their stuff! Myself (EvilDes) and the other admin (Ry and scotty_boy) are all regular posters on there, but just felt it time the site members who own Si's, have their own place to refer to!

And so that brings us onto what we have before your very eyes. The construction of FSI.com was a laborious process. We had to try and get the right style, look and content to the site. You may well see many changes happening in the foreseeable future as we attempt to make FSI.com as pleasing to the eye, as easy to use and as enjoyable for you to use! We'd welcome any suggestions on any part of the site, so feel free to post up or pm any one of us! What we aim to give you is a main site that has much information to take from. Something else we'd like to do is write up reports on shows, post up news and inform you of coming events! The forum is also an integral part of the whole FSI.com experience, and hopefully you will find it informative as well as entertaining!

This site is made for the Si owner. It's time to stop feeling neglected..
