Found it on eBay, won it for 459.

Sills are crapped, last owner covered nicely with filler, didnt weld, or treat rust so its eating away at the filler.. needs sorting or selling.

I fear selling is more like it, dont have the money right now to sort it out.

Quite quick just at the end of the day like you say 10 years old, and its just a fiesta with a zetec engine in it.. oh and some fancy seats.

If its rusted along the sills and they are asking a fair whack for it, just leave it, enless you intend spending and spending and spending on it; because believe me, you will, lol.

Most owners dont seem to of kept their si's in good nick at all, let them rot away and leave it to poor gits like me and you to restore..

Paul

I had the same problem with mine but it was the rear arches that had been done.
ended up getting new arches and sills fitted. just need to get 2 new wings then its totally rustless on the outside.

disagree - the mk3.5 dont rust as much as the older MK3's, and you dont get any rust around the filler caps on the Si, they have a fuel flap cover over the actual petrol lock.

the cheapest insurance i found with mods was with adrian flux. anyone know a cheap one?

For insurance you can try Performance Direct. They are an insurance broker and specialise in performace or modded motors. Give em a ring on 08704584108

yer. Changed a little bit since then though. The venoms have gone and got some 17" kahns, just need some tyres for em. Added a mondeo spoiler too. Yes they are RS2000 Skirts on there. Easy to fit. Just bolt or rivet them on where they join the bottom of the arches.

GregA - Yer when i had the venoms that was back in about 1999 when they are all the rage, but theyve just dated over the years. Got some 17" kahns now, just need some tyres for em. Done all the work myself except the Avo coilovers and the window tinting.

picture below is a photoshopped pic with the kahns on.......much better !

GregA - The petrol cap isnt white, the contrast and brightness of the picture makes it seem that way. Its a dimma MK4 Brushed Aluminium Fuel Flap cover. Looks odd in the picture i know but it reflects the light. Bonnets gone know mate as same twat reversed into it, got just a standard FRST one one now, not sure what to do with it though yet. I didnt do the spray work on the bonnet. An area that big needed colour matching as your cars original colour fades over the years and being that its a big panel on the car it was important to get the colour match perfect, so had it done professionally. Sprayed The skirts & Spoiler etc no probs.

Arches havent been cut just simple rolled, Think it cost me ?25 an arch to get done. Got Avo Coilovers and 5MM wheel spacers on the rear. Didnt get arch rubbing when the venoms were on, but rubbed on the inner-linners on full lock.

quiet often suprisingly. you dont notice it until it catches. then you tend not to do it.
