Great start to the morning. Got a puncher on the o/s rear run flat. Tried tire weld and putting air in but it's coming straight out. Off this morning for another new tyre :x

and on another bright note, ive took the led rear lights off and gone back to standard. a few of the brake light leds werent working, sometimes they flicker and now the latest thing, the n/s light that never fitted very well in the first place is now using the brake light as the regular rear light.

Thats the last time i buy cheap after market light units. Had the same sort of shit with the aftermarket Leon rear lights. taking them back as faulty under warranty and get my £170 back

From now on its OEM as so many aftermarket products are so poorly made and just dont last. Plus i think aftermarket led on the rear on this makes it look cheap.

my options for rear lights are BMW blackline oem non-led rears or the BMW facelift led rear lights with the matching tailgate

genuine bmw blacklines

TYRES:
been recommend to me to not run one run flat and one non-run flat at the rear, so either get one run flat which costs the same as two non run flats so going with a pair of 2 new non-run flats. the run flats only give you about 50 miles anyway plus they can be £300+ a tyre and nobody stocks them, always a special order.

think iam going to get a spare front 8.5J alloy and tyre as a backup spare wheel. Problem with BMW's and all this run flat shit is there's no space for a spare wheel which i think is a better option.

LIGHTS:
there defo the best option for the older E90 rear but the lights are like £285 a set

can get the newer LCI tailgate and rear lights for £350.

do you not think the newer LCI lights look more aggressive ?

'tis the future!
With all manufactures trying to lower emissions, it's a free 15/20kgs.

At least BM fit run flats! Recently discovered the gunk in my Audi is past it's "Sell by date", whatever the fuck that means. It certainly tasted off. Took my two attempts to down the bottle!!!

blacklines it is then. Also going to a get a carbon tailgate and paint it but blend the paint so the tip of the spoiler shows carbon.

Stole the idea from this pic

Picking up a pair of power folding mirrors tomorrow night, then will fit them and have them coded Thursday night so that they fold\unfold from the remote with the lock\unlock feature.

i bought a big reel of Carbon 4D Gloss wrap off ebay and spent the day wrapping my center console, dash and door trim to replace the aluminium effect.

Turned out ok and looks better. For £20 a reel it's much cheaper then the genuine BMW ones at £700.

Too dark for pics so ill upload some in the day time.

A few pics of the 4D carbon wrapped dash and door trim. I really hated the aluminium trim and much happier with this.

Also got a set of genuine BMW blackline rear lights coming
