I need a mustang in my life, never really liked the concept of them in this country but when you are over there they just seem so right, and whenever you see one you go weak at the knees! :chill:

Makes me laugh, the mates I was with were taking pictures of buildings and sh*t, I was snapping cars

We stayed three nights in Miami then hired a car and drove down the keys finishing up at Key west. Was epic, such a good holiday! Where have you been before Des?

Went to Orlando a couple of times for all the usual theme park fun! Travelled down to the Everglades too, done all the usual, alligator farms, went on the boats with the fans on the back over the swamps etc etc :D Truly awesome.

I want to do a drive across the whole of America, West to East coast. Obviously would need to hire an American muscle car for that one! As you say, they just fit over there. Too big and not suited to our roads, but in America they are perfect.

Yea, we did all the alligator shiz and airboats too, they were awesome. Getting the back end out to go round corners, and powered by two v8 powered fans, epic :D

Need to go back and hire a mustang one day, the hire car was the only thing that let the holiday down, Toyota yaris.......

That's a good deal! Was saying to my mates when over there, if I was going to emigrate, I would get off the flight and go straight to a ford dealer with my wallet, worry about where to live later.....

America is such an awesome place, I will definitely be back, California would be my next shout. Don't think I could live there though

Looks like a cracking Holiday Dave :D

I've also said i want to drive across America! That is an epic deal you found Des. Death Valley might be a little tiring if you're doing 327 miles that day but meh, I've always said if I lost my job and had no family commitments (which I don't plan on having for a while yet) I would sell up and do the travelling thing in the US, maybe even look into working over there whilst I travelled from time to time.

Cheers buddy, it was an epic holiday! 8-)

Not sure on the size, but I would say 24-25", basically tractor wheels....

And yes I know, some cars looked awesome without front plates, whereas some didnt look right without them

Some people had their own personal plate on the front, like "big daddy" etc

I have loads of number plates from when I went there, was my "thing" to collect as souvenirs

Im definitely going to do one of those driving holidays next year, west coast first methinks. There are cheaper deals than that one I found, but that had more info and details :)
