Thanks! Its easy if you take your time! I used to do vinyl wrapping for a living so im quite used to it! The carbon cost me £1.49 for 2 a4 sheets on ebay! And flat surface is easy to do, its wrapping it round the corners that gets ticky and you have to start applying heat to mould it to stop it creaseing :)

Cheers dave!

 yeah i know it is a rather big unit! But its actually round the right way  engine at the front and gearbox at the back under the gearstick! So when you rev it you can feel the car rock from the torque 8-)

K+N will happen, followed by a remap then a miltek after the wedding :D as milteks seem to be around the £800 mark for this :o

thanks guys 8-)

had a trip to the breakers yard to see what audi parts i could collect, ended up getting puddel lights, footwell lights and red door side lights :D so thats nearly everything i need for the lighting pack apart from my drinks holder and door handle lights

so i have 6 of these for the big price of £0 as they didnt want anything for them
Image

these cost £30 a pair from audi!

Just need to make up a wireing loom up for them and then fit them, all the holes are already in place so its a case of fit the wiring and then clip in 8-)

It shall indeed, want to get the cruise control and auto headlights with auto dim mirror fitted next. :chill:

Brake calipers need painting as they are browny black from dirt at the moment but i dont know what colour to paint them yet, may just do them silver or black as i dont want any lairy colours as it wont pull it off

I was quite shocked to find out that the DIS (driver information system) was an optional extra on the audi sport models! So glad it has it fitted as it would have been a big turn of for me if it didnt. :look:

just had the turbo back miltek and cruise control fitted to my vag and i love them. The miltek gives a nice sound with the sound of turbo spool and cruise control is ace once you get over the initial freakishness of it.

I'll get a exhaust vid up on the weekend.

No, if you set it when its just under 2k revs and 5psi doing around 70 then your mpg settles to give a much more accurate reading, without cruise control the mpg is all over the place, I've managed to get a few more MPG on the motorway since fitting mine.
