I doubt the same company will give a good renewal though! Almost always the companies put a massive price and automate it hoping you'll just pay it

Ive had 2 good renewals off Direct line. When everyones was going up mine went down about a fiver so i count myself lucky lol.

Got to say I have renewals being the cheapest before, but it is worth checking.

Aren't deposits usually 2 months premiums?

finding a lump sum is better than paying for higher insurance for the year for the sake of 9 days

£470 odd for the saph, 5k a year, all mods declared 7 years ncb, i also insure a standard 1600E orion as my temp daily hack and both together work out @ £100 a month :D

£90 a month for the ZS. 20 (now 21) 2 yrs no claims, Mods declared at certain prices with 1 yrs RAC cover. but I have 3 points which might make my renewal not as good as it could be

was £70 ish but mods, RAC and then coilovers bumped it up. Mines fully comp too.

I pay £104 for the RS too. But as you both said about your 1.6 NA engines I thought I'd compare :halo:

How long can you hold onto your ncb when un insured? Id hold out for 2months but dont want to lose my 2years ncb
