I doubt it would be a few hundred with all the out of hat quotes so my guess is it would go up if you moved lol

did you actually call them? and are you on about need to insure? because as far as i am aware you cant get a quote online from them

there are very few that will not touch me purely because i want to try insure the saph, funniest thing is looking at compare the market and confused.com :lol:

my insurance actually went down again this year :D , i'll leave now :whistle:

Mine has been stable for the last 2 years so its not all bad, I would still like to pay less of course.

It does seem to be only the admiral group of companies who like me these days.

well to day my Insurance told me my car is Category C write off for the rear dent which they made me a offer

490 for the car 200 pound excess 49 poound to by the car back i will get a chq for like 241 pounds LOL only thing they told me they will fight for my excess so could come out with 150 more it will cost with VIC certificate, about 300 to do the job so could and up with 140 pounds in my pocket but still sucks i could fight it but seen cars on auto trades same miles about 500 .. thats what they go by ...

Yeah I've found some crazy crap with insurers. I've read someone on UKFN found out the saved £100 by not putting the car in the garage and put it on the driveway. Then he tried putting it as on the street instead of the driveway and it was another £100 cheaper.

I've just got some new insurance because the car is about to go back on the road and found RAC were by far the lowest, but only through moneysupermarket.com (£150 or so cheaper than their own site). It cost me 40p a month more to reduce my excess from £500 to £100. SCORE.

How does that make any sense... Cheaper to park it on the street than in your own driveway or a locked garage. I'm going to ask if I can park mine under a sign which says 'I'm unlocked, list of things you can take.....' and see what they say. Probably be free to insure! Even better, I wonder how much they will charge me to park it on the moon? Some insurance companies need to get their act together
