currently have a 1.1 witch im using as a run around slash doner car its getting transplanted in 2 weeks to a 2.0ltr
how much is this going to effect my insurance?

im now 20
going into my third year of driving
im currently paying £465 fully comp as a named driver on my dads policy (how its always been)

either way the engine is going in even if i cant drive it lol

It will affect it big time, you do know on 99% of polices you dont build up your own no claims being a named driver?

Once the dvla has verified the engine change the insurance company will be able to sort out the pricing. Dont expect it to be the same though lol

that was solmething i made sure of before i took the policy out i do get my own no claims :)
andd iv also insured a 2.7td when i was 18 for 600 quid ... my insurance group love me lol

Yeah but thats a stock td... this is a 1.1 going to a 2.0 thats what 50bhp as standard? prob about about 30-40... 2 litre engine, 130 as standard, prob about that still. thats an increase of 100bhp basically... insurance will go 'f**k me, thats a big difference' but alot of people have 2.0 fiestas so they probably have an average price for it like any car :)
