Credit isn't always a bad thing. I bought the Focus on my credit card as it was approx £1000 cheaper than you would expect to pay, a few sums figuring how much quick I could pay it and how much interest I would be charged and it was more than worthwhile.

As a general rule, save up and be patient. :)

Is it just me who likes a car a don't have to fix every 2 weeks?

Dare I say many of you seem to mix up unreliability with character.

I dont have to fix my cars every two weeks either

My si has never broken down (touch wood) and neither has the mk1 or either of the FRST's.

I just work on them as I like working on them and maintaining them and its fine as its not a new car that has a warrenty to void by working on it or doesnt need any maintaining

this is a thread to get some advice in what i should do dont turn it into a old car vs new car or should i say percy vs meliack slanging match. i like the car i think it has planty of charachter in a way that truely shocks people how quick they are. they are very well priced for what they are aswell ive made my mind up its happening as soon i start the new job im saving. its just i cant afford to convert my fiesta and after speaking to a few people undeclared engines are not the way to go and especially when im only 19 and could risk loosing everything including my job due to the nature of criminal convictions and i have plenty of time to build a monster mk3. this is just my stop gap something that doesnt rattle, rust and has all the mod con's.

it might be quick but its a toyota... a car that will get boring very quickly and imo they have a old grannie/drivers that get in the wrong way all the time and hold you up kind of image, and it wont break down enough/ need work to make it fun lol, keep the fiesta mate it has charater and a soul :chill:

Hey! My dad has an Aygo in red with a spoiler and everything! :P

Its the image i get from doing 30k miles a year and drivers most likely to hold me up by driving way below the speed limit and hesitating about 90% of them drive a jap car like yaris's aygos, hybrid cars mainly jap to be honest

Mate, if you sell any stuff off your fez first dibs :P

£1100 a year insurance for the yaris, is that standard mate? or with all the mods?

As if you modify the yaris they put the price up just like if you were to do the fez or get something more powerful?
