Hello boys and girls some of you may know. Well actually a few of you do. ive bought another car...what I have managed to find is....a Volvo V70 R AWD...and its a manual and has been from day one. It’s also stated on the logbook what it is so I know it’s not a badge engineering exercise for someone to make a few quid. The test drive was to put it mildly terrifying. Once it warmed up its owner (knowing the local area better than me) gave it the beans... and it stuck to the road like shit to a wool-lined blanket. And picked up speed at an alarming rate! Even with a buggered airflow meter which is being sorted before I go back to pick it up. Puts it into a safe mode, which robs 20 percent of, power...I dread to think what it will go like with that fixed! There is a heap of history with it. One of its bills being a remap...so it will be interesting to see what it does at the next RR day. Just had a load of work done Inc cam belt, 4-wheel alignment. Major service...its main problems appear to be cosmetic. Inside could do with some leather feed and a carpet wash. Couple of bumper scuffs.suprisingly common on big cars: doh: ... and the hideous effort on meshing the lower part of the bumper. i’ll redo that i think as it looks pants as is. But does protect the aircon rad I spose. And will look decent if it’s done properly and help ACT temps too

I did break the rules abit...I did kind of buy with my heart abit over my head, plans are to fit a tracker and double din sat nav system. And have the cosmetic bits done. Like the inside! But otherwise ill be leaving it alone. As you can imagine it’s fully loaded. Dual zone climate control, trip computer, cruise control, memory heated electric seats, leather/suede, all leccy windows, sunroof, 9 speaker stereo Inc CD changer. The list goes on...my only real plans are a double din sat nav and a tracker for my piece of mind really as replacing it if it goes walkies will be an utter arse. Car is cat one as std. Although I might have a Clifford unit fitted as modernisation in addition to the original unit.

Ill post some pictures when I’ve taken them and not the crappy E-bay ones I have at the moment.

Jam.
