How much does it cost to put a 2.0ltr into an Si :o never knew so many people had done this :P

if you can the work yourself then it'll cost a couple of hundred £, jam and i did becks' engine conversion over a weekend and i dont think it cost her more than £500 at a rough guess, that was with an engine that had done 59k and pretty much new gaskets through out(except the headgasket)

if you can source all the bits and bobs you need cheaply then its gets even cheaper, 2.0 engines can be picked up fairly cheaply as well :D

i was quoted £300 on top of all the parts and engine so your looking at close to 1k+-

new to the site but not to the fiesta scene,just bin out of the loop for a few years but recently got my si back on the road running a 2L with throttel bodies and stand alone management :)
