that just highlights what parts are required to do the conversion.
the prices IIRC are for MMOgenius fitting it

So what ECU's are you guys using with your Si's for 2 litre conversions? I have a non-pats ECU sitting here, which obviously I could wire in with a bit of hacking around and an external EDIS module.. but from what this guide suggests, the Si having external PATS means you can run any PATS mondeo ecu? I would have thought that wouldn't work to be honest, as the internal PATS in the ECU would not work right...... let me know your experiences!

IIRC the only 3 that will work with fiesta conversion are DESK DEWY DEEP ECU's

as these are external pats? same as the fiesta so its just plug and play

any manual mondeo ecu with 'DE...' prefix should work apparently

Internal EDIS, External PATS

I'm running the diesel gearbox in mine just now, seems not too bad and you do get stupid speeds out each gear, think just under 120 in 3rd, still to try top end but too many cops about here plus pretty daft as i like having a licence.

As for improving the mpg, i dunno, i'm getting pretty poor mpg just now but i am driving it like a loon

Anyone else running a diesel box?
I run one in mine 1800 escort, Id like to drive one with a 16si to see what diff there is. As mine has a good first gear 38mph shit 2nd gear good 3rd 4th and 5th 140 on the clock weve had it to that and still abit more to go

140mph from a 1800 escort? bit sceptical. and was that on a cable speedometer, or proper timing gear, as you will be over-reading massively at that kind of speed.
